Chapter 10- The Breakout

The group carried on through the tunnels, carrying Tabby's lockpicks, until they found doors leading out of the tunnels. Three of them were made of steel but two of them were made of the purple material used for the gate at Tabby's city. Eva lockpicked one of the doors. She wasn't too skilled at lockpicking so it took her quite some time. During that time, Appie and Iman dragged Tabby's backpack over to the doors. Soon after, Appie pressed his ear against the bag.

"Hey, I can hear some sort of beeping inside this backpack." Said Appie. XM, Iman and Appie emptied the backpack. Out
came all sorts of weapons. Bows, guns, swords, food, even what appeared to be a wand and some electronics.

"Why on earth does Tabby have all of this junk in her backpack and what's with this wand?" said Iman as she picked it up from the pile. Appie jumped into the pile of Tabby's stuff and soon emerged with some sort of device in his paws which was beeping.

"What is this?" Appie asked as he handed it over to Iman. By this point, Eva had finally managed to unlock the door. Everyone faced the door way as some sand poured out and out tumbled Sherlock.

"Sherlock!" cried Appie as he jumped into her arms, tears pouring down his face.

"What happened" asked Eva.

"The slimes stunned all of us and then threw us into these cells while Brrelleg, that traitor, just left taking all the slimes with her. All
of the cells started filling up with sand about two minutes ago. I'm guessing she left our stuff here because she couldn't carry it all. Is that Tabby's sonic receiver?" said Sherlock panting a little.

"What, this thing?" asked Iman as she handed the beeping device over to Sherlock who pressed one of the buttons causing the beeping to stop.

"Finally, it's about time someone answered the call" said Tabby's voice from the receiver. Sherlock handed the receiver to Iman while she and Eva went to lockpick the two other doors.

"Tabby! What's going on, how do you
still have a receiver?" asked Iman quickly.

"I hid it on me so the slimes wouldn't
take it along with some lockpicks and a grenade. Our cells are filling up with
sand and I can't lockpick my way out because my door is lockpick proof along
with Meh's." said Tabby. The sound of sand falling could be heard from the
receiver. The last two steel doors opened and out came Mehler and
Shaimoustache, sand falling out of their cells. Eva and Iman moved to the two
purple doors and were about to start lock picking them.

"Wait those doors can't be
lockpicked!" said Iman.

"So how do we get Tabby and Meh out?"
asked Mehler slightly panicked.

Sherlock examined the keyhole, fake.
She told the others who decided to resort to breaking down the door which meant
them shooting everything they had at the door and using Tabby's weapons to try
to break it down.

"Guys, not to rush you but the sand is
getting close to my neck now!" said Tabby.

"We're trying our best but we can't
break it down. There's nothing but a fake keyhole in the door." Said Iman into
the receiver.

"You can't break down the door. This
is going to sound stupid but did you happen to find a wand in my backpack?"
asked Tabby. Hearing this, everyone stopped trying to smash down the door.
Appie and XM suddenly jumped into pile to emerge with a wand which they gave to
Iman. She went up to the door with the wand in hand.

"Okay... I've got the wand. Now what do
I do?" asked Iman who was starting to get a bit anxious by now.

"Put the wand into the fake keyhole
and try to use the magic stuff inside of it. I can't give and exact description
on how to do that but just try." Said Tabby. Iman, who was slightly confused by
Tabby's awful description, did as Tabby said and tried. She concentrated on the
wand as if it were her panda staff and there were five second of silence. The
door suddenly burst open but all that came out was a massive pile of sand. Far
bigger than what had come out of the other cells. Tabby suddenly shooted
through the top of the sand coughing. Everyone sighed with relief. Iman handed
over the wand and Tabby unlocked the door quickly and easily but all that came
out was a huge pile of sand. Meh was slightly shorter than Tabby so there was
that chance that she could have already been...you know. Everyone stared at the
pile hoping that Meh would pop out. Seconds ticked by and nothing happened. Were
they too late?
