Chapter 11- The Dragon

Iman and Eva looked at Sherlock, Mehler and Shaimoustache while Tabby stared intensely at the tile. Tabby soon got on her knees and started digging up the sand with her paws. The pile was big enough to block up the doorway.

"Tabby..." said Mehler as she kneeled down beside her. She shook her head and looked at the pile. Tabby refused to believe it. She continued to dig with her paws. Everyone looked on in despair.
Suddenly, a paw burst through the sand, an orange paw! Tabby grabbed it and pulled it out. Everyone helped out. Together, they pulled out Meh from the pile of sand.

"Thanks a lot everyone, I was certain that I was gone there." Said Meh, coughing a bit. Everyone sighed with relief. 
"We thought you were dead too you know. You're lucky we found that sonic receiver in Tabby's backpack." Said Appie. Meh got up and brushed the sand off her. Quick introductions were made
and the group headed off to Eva and Iman's city. On the way they picked up their items and helped Tabby pick up the massive pile of weapons from her backpack.

"Hey Tabby, Meh, why was it just your doors that needed that magic wand?" asked Eva curiously.

"I'm guessing it's because Brrelleg knew that no matter what,I would always happen to have lockpicks on me and obviously Meh is Brrelleg's biggest target now. With that special ability on The Holy Claymore of Beethoven, it makes sense. Those kind of doors are ridiculously hard to make so they probably only used them for the people Brrelleg saw as necessary to use on.

"Hang on a second, there was a dragon here, wasn't there? Do you think Brrelleg took that with her?" asked Sherlock. As if it had heard her, the two glowing yellow eyes of the dragon appeared
behind her.

"Why don't you ask him?" Replied Tabby pointing to the dragon. Sherlock realised that the dragon was there and everyone readied their weapons.

"No! Remember, we're not here to take on the dragon, the slime camp is no more now that the slimes are gone so just run!" yelled Mehler. Everyone ran through the tunnels until they came to the pit where they fell down. There was no way out of the slime camp apart from the hole above them.

"How do we get up there?" said Appie worried.

"Just climb!" shouted Sherlock. Everyone began climbing up to the top. The dragon was nearing them. Tabby, Meh and Mehler got up to the top first due to their cat agility and strength. They
helped the others to the top. Everyone just managed to get to the top before the dragon shot through the hole and into the air. It's wings stretch out and it roared. Electric golems were summoned and were coming after them.
"Looks like there's no running now! Everyone, stick to the strategy!" ordered Sherlock who had seemed to suddenly take charge. Eva teamed up with Meh and Tabby while Iman helped the others. The electric golems had long spindly bodies made out of electricity and their heads appeared to be just a ball of energy. Tabby, Meh and Eva got ready to fight the dragon. It was flying straight towards jump. It flew out of them but the three avoided it flawlessly. The dragon fired at Meh with a ball of electricity. Meh pushed it back with her sword and flung it back at the dragon. Tabby and Eva were slightly impressed with this. Tabby slammed her venomous sword into the ground. Thorns came up from the ground, wrapped around the dragon and tied him to the ground. The dragon snapped a few of the thorns though and it was breaking loose.

"Tabby, pass the sword over to me!" said Eva. Tabby threw the sword to Eva. She was slightly more skilled with the ability then Tabby and more thorns came up to hold the dragon. The dragon
couldn't break them.
"Finish it off Meh!" yelled Eva. Meh held up her sword and concentrated really hard. Once again, Beethoven came down from the skies. Everyone but Tabby and Meh stared in awe as they saw the majestic Beethoven, five times the size of a castle, swoop down and kill all of the golems and the dragon. The dragon roared and disappeared into thin air as its golems fell to the ground dead. Just before Beethoven flew back up, he looked down at Meh and smiled. He flew back up and the phenomenon ended. Meh lay down on the sand gasping for breath. The others came and helped her up. It was getting dark so they set up a camp for the night and lit a safe campfire.
"Hey where's Tabby?" asked Meh "Surely she'll have to sleep at the camp. It'll be too dangerous for her to be on her own." Just after she said that Tabby came with something in her paws.
 "You won't believe what I found!" said Tabby excited. She held out her paws. "Look, yellow dragon scales!" The scales were each about the size Tabby's paws and they were very shiny, They looked
almost like gold.

"Ugh, Tabby! Why did you bring its scales." Said Eva disgusted.

"Well, we could make some pretty cool weapons out of them or we could keep them as a trophy for killing a dragon."

"That's still a bit weird Tabby." Replied Sherlock. Tabby walked off.

"I'm going to sleep." Said Tabby slightly annoyed as she walked away.

"Tabby, the tents are here and you can't go off on your own." Said Meh

"Don't worry, I'll be fine."she replied and she walked off into the darkness.

Meh looked at where Tabby had went. She couldn't see her in the darkness.
